We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service: • Access code — a randomly generated numeric code that serves as your account identifier. No name, email, or password is ever collected. • Activity data — time spent on the platform, stories played, choices made, and messages exchanged. • IP address — collected temporarily for security purposes (rate limiting login attempts) and not stored long-term. • Technical data — browser type and device type for compatibility purposes.
Your data is used to: • Provide and operate the service (save story progress, display your activity stats) • Protect the platform against abuse (rate limiting, blocking spam accounts) • Improve the experience (anonymous aggregate statistics) We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
We use two essential cookies: • sexter_session — authenticates your session. Required to use the service. • sexter_theme — remembers your light/dark mode preference. These are strictly necessary cookies. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
Your account and story progress are retained for as long as you use the service. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us at contact@sexter.io and we will remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to: • Access the data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten") • Object to processing of your data To exercise any of these rights, contact contact@sexter.io.
We take security seriously. Your access code is stored as a hashed value. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. We apply rate limiting to protect against brute-force attacks. We do not store payment information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page.
