Sexter is an interactive fiction platform. Stories are written, authored works: pre-written narrative delivered as a chat. We are an adult (18+) platform, and some stories contain explicit sexual themes. These guidelines describe what is allowed here. They apply to everyone, whether you are playing stories or writing them.
This is an adult platform. By using Sexter you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if that is higher). Do not use the service if you are under 18.
Payments and memberships on Sexter are handled by Patreon and SubscribeStar. Because of that, all content on the platform must also comply with their content policies at all times. Where our rules and theirs differ, the stricter rule applies. We have zero tolerance for the following, in any form (written, illustrated, AI-generated, or otherwise): • Any sexualization of minors, or characters portrayed or implied to be minors. All sexual characters must be unmistakably adults. • Sexual content involving real people without their consent, including "deepfakes" and non-consensual intimate imagery. • Incest between close blood relatives or legal parent/child and equivalent relationships. • Bestiality involving real-world animals. • Content that depicts, glorifies, or sexualizes rape or sexual violence, including "consensual non-consent" scenarios. • Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or anything that facilitates real-world harm. • Hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or threats of violence. Accounts involved in this content will be removed. Where required by law, we report to the appropriate authorities.
Sexual scenarios between characters must depict consent that is freely given by adults who are able to give it. Scenarios built around a character being unable to consent (for example, due to being drugged, blackmailed, or unconscious) are not allowed.
If you create stories on Sexter, you are responsible for making sure your work follows these guidelines and the policies of Patreon and SubscribeStar. We may edit, unpublish, or remove content that does not comply, and we may remove access for repeat or serious violations.

We may update these guidelines from time to time, including when our payment providers update theirs. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
